Position Overview:
We are looking for an organized, friendly, and passionate Communications Intern to help manage our social media, write email copy, assist with coffee events, and more. You will also be cross-trained in roasting, brewing, and business operations, so you can speak knowledgeably about all sides of our company.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Social Media:
Develop and schedule social media posts.
Assist with writing email newsletters and promotional copy.
Support in creating marketing materials.
Event Management & Customer Engagement:
Help organize and promote coffee roasting events.

Roastery Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roastery Manager to oversee all aspects of our coffee roasting operations. This role includes managing roasting schedules, ensuring quality control, coordinating with interns, and optimizing business processes. The Roastery Manager will play a key leadership role, ensuring smooth operations and supporting company growth while receiving guidance and coaching from the owner.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee the entire coffee roasting process, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
Maintain and optimize production schedules to meet demand.
Ensure compliance with food safety and industry standards.
Internship Oversight:
Supervise and mentor Coffee Roasting and Communications Interns, providing training and support.
Assign tasks and monitor progress, ensuring interns gain valuable experience and contribute effectively.
Inventory and Logistics:
Manage green coffee inventory and supplies, keeping accurate records.
Coordinate order fulfillment and shipping to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Customer Engagement and Sales Support:
Assist with wholesale customer relationships and address client needs.
Support sales initiatives, including packaging and promotions.
Business Development:
Collaborate with the owner to identify growth opportunities and streamline operations.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and customer experiences.
Training and Development:
Receive coaching and mentorship from the owner to grow in business leadership and management skills.
Gain in-depth knowledge of running a small business and the coffee industry.
Requirements:
